The Kenko 49mm MC-ND400 Filter decreases the amount of light entering the camera lens. This allows shooting with a wide open diaphragm even on shiny days, to add motion blur to subjects and to extend time exposures. The ND400 reduces light entering the camera lens by the equivalent of 8 2/3 stops.
