Steiner Navigator Pro 7×30 with Compass

The Steiner Navigator Pro 7×30 with Compass (STN7145) is engineered and built to withstand the rigors of life on the water while producing bright and clear images. The relatively small objectives make this binocular fairly lightweight and very easy to handle – even one-handed, while the 7x magnification translates to a wide 112 m field of view at 1000 yards. An integrated compass features bearing marks that don’t interfere with the field of view and is stabilized to increase visibility during rolling seas. The compass is backlit for easy viewing in all lighting conditions and the brightness adjustment is easily made, even while holding the binocular one-handed. The Porro prism optical design combined with fully multicoated optics provides high-contrast images with true color representation and long depth of field.

Each ocular is individually focused for precise customization for each user and will maintain that focus from 10 m to infinity – so users can concentrate on the views, not re-focusing.To hold up to the elements, the housing is made of temperature and impact-resistant Makrolon polycarbonate. NBR rubber armoring on the exterior is resistant to oil, acid, and weathering, as well as providing a slip-resistant grip in cold or wet conditions. The optical tubes are nitrogen-filled for fogproof performance, and the Navigator Pro is waterproof to 4 m.

Construction Details

  • Temperature and impact-resistant Makrolon polycarbonate housing
  • Floating prism mounting system protects the prisms’ collimation in the event of drops or impacts
  • Slip-resistant NBR rubber exterior armoring is resistant to oil, acid, and weathering
  • Nitrogen-filled optical tubes for fogproof performance, and waterproof to 5 m
  • Two-way pressure valve enables nitrogen to be added at any time during the life of the binocular
  • Wide operating temperature range from (-20 to 60°C)

7x Magnification

The marine standard, with a wide, stable image for tracking other boats, buoys, and bridge numbers even in rough water.

High Contrast Optics

Provide bright, sharply contoured images with the natural color definition for outstanding viewing quality suitable for both beginners and professionals.

Floating Prism System

Uses flexible silicon lens mount to absorb severe shock, impact, and abuse without damage

Sports-Auto FocusSystem

Let’s you focus each eyepiece to your vision once, then keeps images razor sharp from 20 yards to infinity. No more chasing focus on moving objects.

Makrolon housing

Durable polycarbonate with NBR Long Life rubber armoring, creating a lightweight, rugged chassis that withstands 11 Gs of impact. Impervious to harsh conditions for generations of trusted use.

N2 injection system

Seals 14-psi pressurized dry nitrogen into the optic, for fogproof clarity in any condition – from arctic cold to the desert heat.
