Advanced 5-axis HYBRID O.I.S+ Image Stabilisation

5-axis Image Stabilisation is built-into the TZ-220 minimise blurry images caused by camera shake and extreme magnification. The image stabiliser improves clarity when shooting in low-light conditions, reducing the effect of camera shake and improving overall image detail. Electronic stabilisation can be enabled for video, smoothing out bumps and jitter to deliver cinematic results.

Large 20.1 Megapixel Image Sensor

Boasting a 1-inch sized 20.1 Megapixel sensor, the camera delivers uncompromising detail and  realistic colour reproduction. RAW file support and its large sensor make a great combination for beginner photographers looking to get more serious with image editing and printing. In-camera RAW conversion adds convenience by enabling you to manipulate images without having to download software and connect the camera to a computer.

4K Ultra HD & 120fps Slow Motion Video Recording

Perfect for when an image can’t tell the whole story, the TZ-220’s 4K video recording mode is enables you to relive those special moments in razor-sharp clarity. The Quad-HD quality of the video is also great for budding movie makers, enabling you to edit or crop the video in post-production whilst maintaining full HD clarity.

For fast moving subjects the video mode can be cranked to record 120fps videos in-camera, allowing you to create moody 4x slow motion scenes directly to your memory card.

30FPS 4K Photo Burst Modes

The TZ-200 also features three different 4K photography modes that utilise a fast 30fps burst to freeze fast-moving action and subject. The 4K Burst Mode captures 30 frames-a-second for as long as you hold the shutter, ideal for unpredictable scenes.  The 4K Burst Start/Stop allows you to toggle recording on and off by pressing the button once to start recording and again to stop. The final mode is called 4K Pre-Burst and captures 30 frames before you even press the shutter and then another 30 frames after you press the shutter for 60 frames in total.

Post Focus Functionality

A Post Focus mode enables you to choose the focal point of an image after it’s been taken by simply touching your chosen point on the back of the screen. Great for macro and shallow depth of field scenarios.

In-Camera Creative Versatility

Focus Stacking built into the camera software allows you to combine focal points to achieve complete foreground-to-background focus while an updated in-camera Sequence Composition function allows a sequence of images to be composited in-camera to deliver a collage of movement in one shot.

3-inch Touchscreen & 2.3 Million Dot EVF

The rear of the camera houses a responsive 3-inch touchscreen. Its 1.2 million-dot resolution delivers excellent image detail to help confirm your intended subject is always in focus. Touch focus adds to the intuitive shooting experience, enabling you to simply touch on the part of the scene you wish to focus on, and let the camera do the rest. For scenarios where you are shooting in the bright midday sun, the electronic viewfinder could come in handy. Updated to a whopping 2.3 million dots, double the previous version, the EVF is a joy to use for pixel perfect framing and composition.

Built-in WiFi & Bluetooth Connectivity

Grow your social media following and keep friends and family up to date with your adventures via the built-in WiFi. Simpy use the Panasonic Image app to send quality photos to your smart device, ready for you to upload to your favourite social channels. The TZ 220 also features, Bluetooth v4.2 BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) compatibility, enabling the camera to remain conveniently connected to your smart device without sacrificing battery life.
