This   Nikon E Series 70-210mm f/4  Ai-s is a manual focus, medium weight, fast constant F4 Telephoto zoom lens for full-frame FX and 35mm cameras. From the shortest to the longest focal length, it produces sharp images with high contrast, even at its maximum aperture. This lens focuses from infinity down to 5ft at all focal lengths; however, at the 70mm setting, you can shoot macro photographs down to a close of 61 m. At this distance, the subject is pictured 1/6X life-size. In addition, it features a one-touch zoom/focus system: twist the ring to focus and push/pull to zoom. Nikon Integrated Coating (NIC) is applied to air-to-glass surfaces of the lens elements to minimize ghost images and flare and produce natural colour rendition.
