The 10×42 Sahara Binocular from Barr & Stroud combines a fully multicoated lens system and weather-sealed housing to create an optic well-suited for a wide range of glassing tasks. This 10x optic features a 6° angle of view and 6.5 ft close focus distance, equipping the Sahara for close to mid-range observations like birding and hunting. A nitrogen-filled fogproof housing complements the optical features; the binocular is submergible to five feet (for up to three minutes) and is wrapped with slip-resistant rubber armor that absorbs light impact. The long 14mm eye relief, rapid focus center wheel, and click-stop rubber eyecups make the Sahara binocular both easy to use and comfortable to handle.
