Benro Pioneer 1000 Roller Bag
The Benro Pioneer 1000 Roller Bag can be used either as a pull along option or a backpack and is made of a high quality DuPont 1680D material, which is water repellent and abrasive-resistant and incredibly hard wearing, making it a perfect rolling camera bag. It has been beautifully designed, with a solid handle/stand on its base, so it can stand clear of flat ground and be held horizontally, which helps putting it into overhead lockers, or storing it when not in use. The strong, sturdy wheels are free rolling and the case has two padded carrying handles, so the bag can be carried vertically or horizontally. The shoulder harness for carrying the bag on the back, is wide and slightly padded, although we wouldn’t recommend carrying the bag this way for long distances. The Benro Pioneer is capable of holding 2 SLRs, 6 Lenses and 2 Flashes.
The main compartment has two large dividers and five small dividers which are secured by velcro. The large dividers are finished in soft cloth and the smaller ones have a nylon cover with velcro strips so that they can be postioned against the larger dividers. There is an extra security tape, again, with velcro fastening and that can hold the two larger dividers together for added security. The bag has a seperate nylon bag with mesh for storing accessories and a dust cover, to help protect the outside of the bag from dirt and moisture. The lid of the bag has retaining straps which makes it really easy to access, but they can be quickly unclipped and removed, if not required. The inside of the lid has small pockets for cards, phones, papers and pens and a larger clear pocket for batteries, chargers etc. The outside of the lid has a large slim pocket, which will take a 13" laptop, or a tablet and the vertical zipped pocket in the front, would be perfect for papers, photos or a slim A4 folder. Most of the zips on the Pioneer 1000 have pull cords, making them easier to use and have an attractive red ‘pull’ which contrasts beautifully with the black bag.
The side of the bag has a loop at the top, which can be secured around a compact tripod and a pocket which would take a mini tripod. The extendable handle is secured inside the top pocket and the zip has a rubber pull making it easy to open. The top of the bag has a strap which is hidden in the zipper pocket when not in use and the side pocket has a combination security loop for securing the bag to solid objects, it wouldn’t stop the bag from being stolen, but it would certainly make a thief think twice. The main compartments have a password lock zip for the highest protection of your equipment -. The shoulder straps to be used as a backpack can be found ‘hidden’ on the back compartment of the trolley.
