A shutter release cable is an ideal device to prevent camera shake when you press the shutter release button. It is a must for low-light and night photography. To use, simply connect the coiled shutter cable from your iPhone or iPad earphone jack to the V6 or V5 transceiver set in RX mode via the x-Sync Port. Open the iOS Camera app and you can wirelessly control the shutter of your iPhone or iPad from another V6 or V5 unit set to TX mode by pressing the Test (shutter) button. The Gold-plated plug connects to the V6 or V5 x-Sync Port while silver-plated plug connects to mic jack on the iOS device.
