Made just for the EOS 20D, 30D, 40D  Digital SLR, the Battery Grip BG-E2 holds up to 2 Battery Packs BP-511 or 6 AA Batteries to offer double-length shooting time. The vertical shutter release makes shooting with the camera in a vertical position just as comfortable as shooting horizontally.

The following functions are available in the vertical shooting position. Shutter, Main Dial, AF Point Selection, AF/FE Lock, and AV +/-. For AC driven shooting the BG-E2 is compatible with the AC Adapter Kit ACK-E2. Optional Hand strap E1 is available

  • Optional hand strap (E1) is available
  • Increases functionality and convenience for your Canon EOS 20D, 30D, 40D
  • Holds up to 2 Canon Lithium-ion battery packs (BP-511/511A/512/514) or 6 AA batteries for increased shooting time
