Capable of audio playback and recording at resolutions up to 24-bit / 96 kHz, this DAC incorporates an amp supporting 16- to 300-ohm headphones. In addition to a USB Type-C host connection, the G3 also sports a headphone output and mic input. Furthermore, a mini TOSLINK Optical and line combo input supports both digital and analog audio. The G3 is fully compatible with Windows and Mac operating systems. PS4 is also supported without Sound Blaster Command software, while the Nintendo Switch is compatible without Sound Blaster Command software or the GameVoice Mix feature. The G3 provides plug and play audio for all supported systems. The Sound Blaster Command app supports iOS and Android devices with built-in Bluetooth Low Energy technology and is compatible with Windows, Mac, and PS4 systems. A USB Type-C to A adapter is included, along with an optical cable.

Compatibility
The Sound Blaster G3 is fully compatible with Windows and Mac operating systems. It is also compatible with PS4 without the use of Sound Blaster Command software, and Nintendo Switch without GameVoice Mix and Sound Blaster Command software. The Sound Blaster Command App is compatible with Android and iOS devices with built-in Bluetooth Low Energy technology.
Bus-Powered
The G3 is powered via USB Type-C, allowing for compatibility across platforms, including the PS4, Switch, PC, and Mac. The Sound Blaster G3 also requires no special software or drivers. To hear USB audio, simply plug in the G3 and it will work straight out of the box. No available USB Type-C port? Use the included USB Type-C to A converter to connect to a UBS Type-A port.
GameVoice Mix
The G3’s GameVoice Mix feature provides balancing capabilities for game audio and chat. Simply plug in the G3 via the USB Type-C and Optical/Line-in port. Then, without leaving your game screen, use the GameVoice Mix volume dial to easily increase your voice chat volume during a raid to hear your team better, or decrease the chatter and amp up in-game audio during a particularly climatic scene.
One Hand, All Controls
Built with form and function in mind, the G3 provides direct access to the independent mic and volume controls on each side of the device. One-handed control design allows you to maneuver in-game with one hand on your mouse or controller, while making mic and volume adjustments instinctively using your free hand.
Footsteps Enhancer
Hear beyond what you see with the custom-tuned Footsteps Enhancer feature, a customizable EQ that allows you to hear footsteps and pinpoint your opponents.
Mobile Remote Control
Make on-the-fly changes to your audio settings directly on the G3 via your mobile phone. Without having to unplug or exit your game, you can remotely control your sound settings through the Sound Blaster Command mobile app. Can’t tell if your mic feed sounds too soft or too loud? Use the mic-monitoring feature via the mobile app to adjust levels while monitoring the feed. You can also make instantaneous bass and treble adjustments, further customize the Footsteps Enhancer mode, or even adjust your volume and mic controls when your G3 is out of reach. This feature is compatible with Android and iOS devices with built-in Bluetooth Low Energy technology.
