The Elinchrom ELC 125 Flash heads is yet another step forward in the evolution of its monolight design. Besides the impressive features we’ve come to expect from this brand, the ELC 125 added quite a bit more. Short recycling times of 0.1 to 0.8 seconds coupled with flash durations as short as 1/7750 sec make freeze-motion, stop-action shooting possible. In fact, very high fps rates are possible at minimum power, as well as High Speed Sync that allows bright background regulation with shutter speeds of a lightning-fast 1/8000 second. An intelligent low noise, temperature-activated fan keeps the head cool and lengthens the life of the flash tube.
