Geared mechanism
The primary feature of the Gitzo GS3313GS Geared Center Column for Series 3 and 4 Systematic Tripods is its geared mechanism, which allows the user to make incremental vertical adjustments with the use of an integrated cranking handle. When the desired height is reached the user may then use the disc-lock equipped central collar to lock the column in place
