Haida NanoPro CPL Circular Pol Filter (100 x 100mm)
The Haida NanoPro CPL Circular Pol Filter (100 x 100mm) from Haida is made for 100 x 100mm filter holders and helps reduce reflections and glare by filtering out light that has become polarized due to reflection from nonmetallic surfaces. Sunlight becomes partially polarized by reflecting off electrons in air molecules, causing the light to scatter and appear as haze. A polarizing filter arranges and filters this directionally polarized light perpendicularly to the reflected light, allowing much of the light to be absorbed. This results in a noticeable reduction of glare and reflections and an increase in the saturation of skies and foliage, making it an essential tool for landscape photography. A circular polarizer contains an additional quarter wave plane than a linear polarizer to further circularly polarize the filtered light for compatibility with contemporary autofocus and exposure functions.
