With an objective lens that gathers copious amounts of light and a powerful zoom eyepiece, the Konus 20-60×100 Spotting Scope KS7127 Konuspot is a powerful spotting scope for bird and aeroplane spotters. With a variable zoom of 20-60x and the BaK-4 glass with multi-coatings, the Konuspot 100C offers a high resolution and optimal brightness so that this spotting scope provides a good image in less light conditions. A 45 degrees viewing angle allows you to observe the world in an extremely relaxed way.
Its 20-60x zoom range brings distant objects into sharp focus, and the combination of a 100mm objective lens and anti-reflection multi-coatings provides effective light transmission that boosts its low-light capability from the first light of pre-dawn through to the last light of late dusk. The eyepiece is set at a 45° angle to the body to place your head in a comfortable position whether you’re standing, sitting, or lying prone.
Rubber body armour protects the optics from bumps and minor impacts. The scope can be used for digiscoping with the two included adapters: one for your smartphone and another for a DSLR camera. To use the DSLR adapter, you’ll need to get a camera-specific T-ring that fits your specific camera model. The KonuSpot-100 comes with a soft carrying case.

Digiscoping
With the Konus Spotting Scope Konuspot-100C 20-60×100, you can easily take photos and videos of the subject you are observing using the included Smartphone adapter and your own smartphone. By using this adapter in combination with your smartphone, it is also possible to look at the subject with several people at the same time. This is possible because what you are observing is displayed on the screen of your smartphone. It is also still possible to take photos and videos at the same time. You place your smartphone in the smartphone adapter and centre the camera in the middle of the circle. Now you can remove the rubber from the eyepiece of the Konuspot-100C and twist the Smartphone adapter onto the thread. When you now open the camera application of your smartphone you can use the screen to observe and to take pictures and make videos. If the image is unclear, you can remedy this by zooming in on your phone, as you are normally used to, or by using the focus ring of the Konus Konuspot-100C.
DSLR adapter for Reflex cameras
Using the DSLR adapter it is also possible to use your SLR camera to take pictures of the observations. In this case, you must have a T2 adapter (see optional accessories) which you mount on your SLR camera instead of the lens. Even now it is possible to look at the screen with several people at the same time to see the observations. Also, this way the possibility remains to take pictures with your camera.
First, attach the T2 adapter to the DSLR adapter and then remove the rubber of the eyepiece from the Konuspot-100C. Then slide the DSLR adapter over the eyepiece and tighten it by means of the thread. When you remove the lens from the camera, you can attach the camera to the T2 adapter, after which the setup is ready for use.
