Simply support at the height you desire with a lighting stand at each end. Will take up to 3m backgrounds. With this Lastolite Crossbar Telescopic 3M supports curtains and roll extends to a maximum of 3m and can be locked into place at any point. Usually supported on two light stands it can then be used as a background support for curtains, paper rolls up to 2.7m, light muslins etc.
This is a fairly light-weight aluminium support bar and has a maximum weight across the support of 10Kg.
Add on a couple of medium duty light stands to your kit list to complete the background holder
