Meade LX70 R5 5" Achromat Refractor OTA Telescope
The Meade LX70 5" Achromatic Refractor is equipped with a high-quality air-spaced objective lens that produces high resolution and incredible contrast for lunar, planetary, and deep-sky observations. The 120 mm clear aperture of the Meade LX70 refractor allows it to resolve details down to 0.9 arcsecond across.
Astronomical objects can be viewed using the two included 31.75cm Plossl eyepieces (9 mm & 26 mm). With its 50.8cm rack and pinion focuser and 50.8cm 90° diagonal, the LX70 R5 Refractor is equipped to handle wide-field 50.8cm eyepieces right out of the box.
The 270020 LX70 R5 5" Achromatic Refractor by Meade includes a 6×30 optical viewfinder with cross hair reticle which makes locating faint objects quick and easy. Sold as an OTA without the mount. This scope is ready for your own custom mounting.
