For hunters looking to spot and identify games safely from afar with high accuracy, the Leica Calonox View Thermal Imaging Camera is the perfect hunting companion – by day or night, even under the most challenging conditions.
In conjunction with a 1280 x 960 pixels LCOS display, the Calonox View’s digital zoom can be fully optimized up to 10x magnification for close-up observation, allowing users to capture the tiny details even though the objects are at a far distance. Its image processor (Leica Image Optimization-LIO) alongside the LCOS display and 640 x 512 pixels VOx(Vanadium Oxide) sensor aims to present crisp and clear images, in terms of resolution, contrast, and colour degradation.
The Leica Calonox “View” Thermal Imaging Monocular can store some of the unique footage and photos onto its 16 GB internal memory. Thanks to the Calonox View App, users can transfer the stored images to smartphones through WLAN or to computers through cable. The unit is easily calibrated with three different calibration modes: Auto (A), Manual (M), and Background (B) accessible through a simple touch that aims to restore, refresh and enhance the photos on the display screen.

The outstanding recognition range of the Leica Calonox View is based on a high-end vanadium oxide (VOx) sensor with 640 x 512 pixels and 12 µm pixel size with excellent temperature resolution.

See more, identify the game safely: With a defined target size of 1.7 x 0.5 m, the Leica Calonox View can detect targets up to a distance of 3,000 meters, recognise targets up to 1,000 m, and precisely identify them up to 500 m.

The four colour modes White Hot, Black Hot, Red Hot, and Rainbow provide practical display variations and greater, high-contrast detail recognition.
Calonox View App
Quick and easy: With the Calonox View App, photos or videos stored on the camera can be transferred to the smartphone via WLAN. In addition, the live view function makes it possible to observe the scenery on your cell phone screen. With a simple click, you can switch the display from day mode to night mode.

The Leica Calonox View has 16 GB internal memory for recording special observations such as photos or videos. Using the Calonox View App, the stored images can be transferred to a smartphone via WLAN, or to a computer via cable. Live-view observations are also possible via cell phone.
Powerful digital zoom
Ideal for close-up observations, the 42-mm objective in combination with the 2.5x basic optical magnification provides a large field of view and the best overview. The digital zoom can be set to a magnification of up to 10x, so that no details remain hidden, even at great distances.
Three calibration modes for image optimization
With the three integrated calibration modes Auto (A), Manual (M), and Background (B), you can restore, refresh, and enhance the image on the display. In modes A and M, shutter calibration is initiated automatically or, if you wish, manually at the touch of a button. Background calibration with a covered objective lens is particularly efficient and achieves the best results.
