The Shoulderpod R2 Pocket Rig for Smartphones is a spring-loaded mount made of ABS polymer and holds devices 4.8 to 9.2 cm wide. V-shaped rubber pads and a thumbscrew secure it in place. A brass 1/4"-20 standard tripod threaded hole lets you attach the W1 leather wrist strap and H1 wooden handle, which has a 1/4"-20 threaded hole on its bottom as well.
By placing the P2 accessory plate between the mount and handle and attaching the cold shoe, you can mount accessories like lighting modules, microphones, and more. Shoulderpod is made in Barcelona by a small company dedicated to the simple design, fine materials and craftsmanship. Most components are sourced locally, such as the DIN-6082-T6 aluminium plates; the handle is made from African Sapele wood. Durable and Long-lasting
All components are connected by the universal ¼ inch screw fitting, which allows many other products to be integrated. The Handle and Grip have a brass insert socket in the base for long-term durability. Replacements for all parts are always available if lost or damaged.
Adjustable Grip
The R2 comprises a G1 Grip, H2 Handle, P2 Short Plate, 2 x K1 Screw2, Z1 Cold Shoe and Wrist Strap. The Grip is adjustable to most sizes of a smartphone with widths from 50-82mm. It has soft rubber inserts in the jaws and the thumbscrew enables a secure pressure to be achieved to ensure that the phone stays in place when subject to vibration or handling, unlike clamps which rely on springs alone. The flat sides allow it also to be used as support if a tripod is not available.
