The Steiner 7×50 Marine Binocular is an economical a high-performance German-made boating binocular. Steiner optics deliver better than 90% light transmission, and the 7×50 Marine features Steiner’s revolutionary Sports Auto Focus system, which once set to the user’s individual eyesight allows observations from 18.3m to infinity without the need for focus readjustment. Eye relief is a lengthy 22mm for comfortable extended observations even with eyeglasses.
The 7×50 Marine is nitrogen filled and externally sealed, and guaranteed to withstand bombardment from water jets at multiple angles for five minutes without leaking. It is also tested to withstand a 16.7°C temperature change without internal fogging. It is defined by Steiner as commercially waterproof.
