Designed for use with Pentax K Mount cameras. This very clean pre-owned Asahi Pentax SMC Pentax-M 200mm F4 Telephoto suitable for close sports action..Reasonably compact for a 200mm, with a nifty built-in lens hood. It is in excellent condition overall, with very minor cosmetic paint wear, clean glass and good function.

The colour rendering is superb, especially for blues, and the image quality is uniform across the whole frame. This lens gets high ratings for its sharpness, aberrations, and its Bokeh. The glass is bright, crisp, and clear with no marks, fog, haze, fungus.

The SMC Pentax-M series of lenses were launched in the very late 1970s, a compact successor range of lenses, to follow the first multi coated plain SMC series. This was the second series using the then revolutionary K mount.
