The Canon 5D range of cameras has revolutionised the Full-Frame DSLR market, producing stunning releases that appeal to enthusiasts and professionals. The 5D MK III boasts a 22.3 Megapixel Full Frame CMOS sensor and a powerful DiGIC 5 Image Processor with a standard sensitivity range of ISO 100-25,600 (expandable to 50-102,400), delivering beautiful high-resolution images even in challenging lighting conditions and incorporating a speedy six frames per second continuous shooting rate and a Full HD resolution video to the bag of tricks. The image quality of this rugged, workhorse-like body is a marked improvement over that offered by the already exceptional predecessor, particularly shining under low-light conditions. To keep up with the frame rate, video performance and low-light capabilities, Canon has produced a brilliant 61-point AF system with 41 cross-type points for the 5D MK III, which provides fast, smooth autofocus and works well in the dark.

Canon’s hugely successful 5D range of cameras continues its predecessors’ legacy by creating another full-frame format camera that will appeal to professionals and enthusiasts. The Canon EOS 5D Mark III features a fast continuous shooting rate and Full HD video resolution. It records Full HD 1920×1080 video at 30/25/24 fps and 1280×720 at 50/60 fps. 4 GB automatic file partitioning (continuous recording time 29 minutes 59 seconds), selectable "All i-frame" or IPB compressions, embedded timecode, manual audio level control while recording, and a headphone terminal.

With a build that can handle the pressures of a professional workload and a life travelling the globe, the Canon EOS 5D Mark III uses magnesium alloy in its rugged construction. It is dust and moisture-resistant. The body features two card slots, one SD and one CF, so you can automatically back up your work. The camera has an intelligent viewfinder, with a coverage of around 100% of the frame, or you can use the large and bright 3.2-inch LCD screen that takes up residence at the rear of the camera.

This kit includes a Sunwayfoto PCL-5DIIIR Custom L Bracket for Canon 5D III, which is CNC-machined from solid aluminium alloy. It enables reliable camera support for both horizontal and vertical shooting on a tripod or monopod. It is a dedicated custom design for the Canon 5D III DSLR and is compatible with Arca-type and Right Stuff lever clamps.

A convex edge design holds the camera to prevent twisting or shifting during use, and safety stop screws prevent accidental slipping during installation or removal. The left side of the bracket features a broad gap to allow unrestricted access to the camera’s ports and the skeleton-style design helps to minimise the overall weight. With Arca-style dovetails incorporated on both sides of the bracket and a durable aluminium alloy construction, this L bracket benefits a faster and more efficient tripod workflow.
