It’s an ideal, economical lens  for all types of photography and photographers, and its relatively fast maximum aperture permits top-quality  colour photography under a wide range of lighting conditions. At 6 oz. / 170 g the FD 28mm is light and compact. 

The focusing ring is super smooth. The image quality lives up to expectations and probably even exceeds them.
