This preowned Used Canon ST-E2 Speedlite Transmitter for DSLRs S/N: OZ1217 is small, lightweight, and portable. The ST-E2 is a dedicated infrared transmitter that controls two groups of remote wireless receiver Speedlites.

Improve your wireless flash performance using this Canon ST-E2 Speedlite transmitter. This unit can fire Canon Speedlites at a maximum range of 10m outside and 15m inside. It is E-TTL II compatible. For accuracy, it can control two separate groups of Speedlites, and for creative purposes, users can control the ratio of attached Speedlites from 1:8 to 8:1.

The ST-E2 Speedlite Transmitter is a wireless controller and trigger for EX-series Speedlites. The wireless possibilities are exciting, especially for removing the main flash from the camera. The ST-E2 also sports a powerful near-infrared AF assist light, a welcome feature for EOS cameras lacking an AF assist light. It can High-Speed Sync (FP flash): Enabled with high-speed sync mode.  Under low-light or low-contrast conditions, it emits an AF-assist beam linked to the camera’s focus points.

Special Feature: While the power switch is set to I or HOLD, the transmission turns off automatically after about 90 seconds of non-use The ST-E2 should be used with E-TT /E-TTL II L capable cameras and Speedlites for the best results. Note: 420EX/430EX cannot be used as the master-slave to trigger other flashes.
