This very clean, pre-owned Minolta  AF 50mm F/1.7 is a very compact, sharp and handy standard lens with low light capability; the Minolta AF 50mm F/1.7 has a short focus throw and auto-focuses quickly and accurately.  Manual focusing is easy and quick, too. It has a pleasing bokeh from a seven-bladed aperture. It also has a manual focus.  It fits all Minolta Dynax and Sony Alpha cameras and can be used on the current Sony A99. When used on a Sony A series DSLR (APS-C camera), the perspective is approximately equal to 80mm.

It was primarily designed for 35mm film cameras but worked beautifully with Full Frame Digital cameras like the a99.

Compatible with Sony A series  a65, a300, a700 etc., as well as Minolta Dynax 35mm Film SLRs  

It will NOT fit any late-model Sony e Mount cameras.

The filter size is 49mm. (Optional Clear filter is recommended but not included)
