This pre-owned Used Minolta Auto Meter III F Lightmeter S/N 410482 is a digital electronic exposure meter with a silicon photocell. This meter is powered by 4LR44 or equivalent batteries. 
It is fitted with a Minolta 40 Degree Reflected Light Attachment. The Minolta Reflected Light Attachment is used to measure light reflected from the 
subject for usual overall photographic exposure. Its angle of acceptance is about 40 degrees, approximately the field of a normal lens. 
A direct-reading exposure meter combines a built-in microcomputer, memory function, and an easy-to-read LCD display panel. 
Exposure readings are shown in both digital and analog form. The Auto Meter III memory stores up to 2 exposure readings and automatically 
recalculates this information if the ISO or shutter speed changes.

The Auto Meter III F is a modified version of the regular Auto Meter III. The primary added feature was the ability to measure flash. 
The meter does not have a power button. The screen will automatically deactivate after two minutes of inactivity. 
Pressing the recall button awakens the screen, and your previous measurement will be displayed. The display will blink 
if the battery is too low. There is a measurement lock switch to prevent the taking of measurements.. 
This meter measures ambient and flash illumination in the incident or reflected modes. Exposure data is displayed in digital and analog form 
on an easy-to-read LCD panel. The Auto Meter III F features a convenient averaging capability as well as a cinematographer 1/50 sec. setting.
