This near mint condition Nikon FE Black Body only 35mm Film Camera S/N 2096895 Introduced from 1978, was an electronically controlled aperture-priority automatic and manual exposure 35mm Film SLR camera. It has two needles in the viewfinder: one is the setting of the camera’s shutter speed knob, and one is the exposure suggested by the camera’s light meter.

This makes it easy to use when doing manual exposure settings, you just match the needles to get the correct exposure. In the Automatic setting the one needle indicates the shutter speed selected or set by the camera. The FE shutter speeds go from 8 seconds to 1/1,000, and has a mechanical speed of 1/90 also available if the batteries die. The Nikon FE has a reputation for night photography.
