This very clean, preowned Pentax ESPIO 928 is a fully automatic 35mm point-and-shoot camera with auto wind and rewind, a built-in flash with Red-Eye reduction, and a self-timer with a 28-90mm F/3.5-9.0 zoom lens. It uses a five-point autofocus system with a focus range of 0.58m to infinity. An illumination light is available that can aid in focusing in low-light situations. The shutter speed range is from 1/5 to 1/400. The self-timer has a delay of 10 seconds. It accepts any film from ISO 25-3200.

Like others in the ESPIO family, the 928 comprises some great extra features such as double exposure mode, exposure compensation up to +/- 3 EV,  panorama at the flick of a switch and a bulb setting for long exposures.

The camera is completely automatic with autofocus, auto exposure and motorised film advance. Just aim the camera and shoot! It has an integrated flash and a self-timer.  It has a Panorama switch to allow for cropped panorama photos to be taken. These extra-long panoramic photos can be printed at most photo processing stores.

We have fitted a new CR-123A Lithium battery to power it.    The camera is fitted with a date back, which is capable of imprinting dates up to the year 2019 only.

Note: The camera is supposed to have a +/- diopter adjustment for those who wear eyeglasses; this part is missing from the camera and is no longer available as a spare part. This has no effect on picture quality or the normal operation of the camera. It does mean it might be unsuitable for those wearing eyeglasses.
