The Pentax *ist SLR was the last 35mm film SLR produced by Pentax and claimed to be the : “the world’s smallest 35mm autofocus SLR" at the time. It is compact and lightweight to carry. It has program modes: Normal, Portrait, Landscape, Close-up, Action, and Night-scene. In addition to these there are Shutter Speed Priority and Aperture Priority, plus Manual and Bulb exposure modes. A number of flash functions including the ability to connect with an external flash unit: Wireless, High-speed, and Contrast control.
