This well-used, pre-owned Pentax MX Body has had a tough life but is working beautifully. Please note that it has a couple of small dents in the top prism, but they have no effect on the camera performance. Please see the photo taken by the camera, it is the last photo in the Gallery images.

It boasts a wide option of shutter speeds B and 1 to 1/1000th.and can accept ISO 25 to 1600 film for metering, which is ideal for anyone looking to be versatile with their photography. It is fully mechanical, only needing batteries for the meter. The viewfinder is super bright, which makes focusing a breeze! It was released with 8 interchangeable focusing screens as options for certain styles of Photography. The MX has a "full information" viewfinder. In addition to the metering LEDs, the viewfinder also displays the set shutter speed to give context to the LEDs

The MX was solidly built and featured a fully mechanical construction, including a mechanical shutter of the horizontal cloth type. Only the light metering system was dependent on batteries. The Pentax MX was introduced in 1976 as a pro-calibre all-manual workhorse SLR camera. It was very compact yet had one of the largest and brightest viewfinders of any SLR.
