This Pre-owned Sigma 100-300mm f/4 EX APO DG Pentax KAF autofocus ultra-telephoto zoom lens is made for Pentax K mount SLRs. It covers the frequently used 300mm focal length. It is the ideal lens for shooting sports, nature, wildlife, landscapes and other types of photography that frequently use this telephoto range. The build quality of this lens is exceptional, thanks to an outer body made of metal. The zoom and focus control rings operate very smoothly. The EX finish (smooth textured style) provides a good grip. The reviews online complement the lens as having some very sharp output in most cases. It has excellent bokeh and produces excellent colours. The lens features a constant ƒ/4 aperture designed to fit film or full-frame imaging sensors.

The new multi-layer lens coating and design reduce flare and ghosting while maintaining minimal light-fall-off. This apochromatic lens lets you handle an unprecedented range of subjects, from landscapes to fast-action sports. A convenient built-in rotary tripod mount eliminates vibration during shutter.

The improved DG lens design corrects various aberrations. This lens is specially coated to achieve the best colour balance while cutting down on ghosting caused by reflections from the digital image sensor. The lens provides the utmost correction against lateral chromatic aberration, a serious problem for digital SLR cameras. Sigma prides itself on the materials used in this lens, which is lead—and arsenic-free ecological glass.
