This preowned original Sony Alpha a7 Mirrorless Digital Camera is a full-frame, palm-sized Sony α7: portability and capability in one. Packing a 24.3MP 35mm Full-Frame sensor into a body half the weight of leading DSLRs, this was an exciting landmark in the compact full-frame market at the time of its release.
At just 416 grams with a battery, the α7 is about half the weight of leading DSLRs. And because it’s less bulky, there’s no more giving up quality for portability.
The A7 cameras can use any E-mount lens, but there will be a crop factor involved. Sony has produced a new line of FE-series lenses that take advantage of the larger full-frame sensor.
The A7 uses the new Sony Bionz X processor, which produces images with better detail, less noise, and reduced diffraction. Other features include a 3-inch, tilting LCD, XGA OLED electronic viewfinder, Multi-interface (hot) shoe, Wi-Fi with NFC, and 1080/60p video recording.
