This clean-condition, pre-owned Sony FE 70-200mm F2.8 GM OSS Series Zoom Lens boasts exceptional optics, intuitive handling, and outstanding speed.
A member of the G Master series, this 70-200mm delivers high sharpness alongside smooth, clean bokeh. The bright f/2.8 constant maximum aperture and optical image stabilization also help to ensure sharp handheld shots in available lighting conditions.
The Sony E-Mount FE 70-200mm f/2.8 G Master Zoom Lens is a Frame format lens with a 35mm focal length equivalent of 105-300mm. It also performs well under low-light settings due to its f/2.8 maximum aperture. Constructed with 23 lens elements in 18 groups, it features two Aspherical Lens Elements that reduce spherical aberrations and four Extra-Low Dispersion Glass Elements to eliminate chromatic aberrations. The Optical SteadyShot Image Stabilization reduces image blur due to camera shake. Meanwhile, the Nano AR and Fluorine Coatings filter out unwanted light reflections inside the barrel. Equipped with a Linear Focus Supersonic Wave Motor for quick and accurate focusing, you can also use the Focus Range Limiter for precise adjustments. Amazing bokeh effects can also be achieved through the eleven-blade circular diaphragm. Compatible with Sony E-Mount Cameras, the Sony E-Mount FE 70-200mm f/2.8 G Master Zoom Lens has a 77mm filter diameter.

GM Lens Series
As part of Sony’s esteemed G Master series, this lens is designed to achieve notably high resolution and sharpness by correcting various spherical and chromatic aberrations. A constant f/2.8 maximum aperture offers consistent performance throughout the zoom range and lends greater control over focus position for shallow depth of field techniques. Nano AR Coating has been applied to reduce surface reflections, flare, and ghosting for increased contrast and colour rendering in strong lighting conditions.
When employing selective focus techniques, the rounded 11-blade diaphragm contributes to a pleasing bokeh quality. Of the three aspherical elements incorporated in the lens design, one is an XA element with superior surface precision to effectively reduce astigmatism, field curvature, coma, and other monochromatic aberrations from imagery. Four extra-low dispersion elements and two Super ED elements are also featured in the lens design. These help control chromatic aberrations and reduce colour fringing for increased clarity and colour fidelity.
Image Stabilization, AF, and Handling
The advanced double-linear and ring Supersonic wave Motor system ensures fast, precise, and accurate autofocus in both stills and video.
The floating elements system benefits image quality when working at the 3.15′ minimum focusing distance with 0.25x magnification.
The lens barrel has three focus hold buttons and a focus range limiter switch to permit fast, intuitive lens operation while shooting.
Optical SteadyShot image stabilization minimizes the appearance of camera shake for sharper imagery when shooting handheld with slower shutter speeds. This stabilization system can also be combined with select cameras’ sensor-shift type image stabilization for more effective control of camera blur.
An OSS Mode switch lets you choose Mode 1 for general image stabilization that is suited to most types of shooting, as well as a Mode 2 setting that is specifically intended to be used with panning movement."
